Assessment and
Moderation of Learners
An integrated approach to assessment is adopted and different forms of formative
and summative assessments are conducted to assess and monitor the learner’s
progress. Assessments are done through continuous evaluation of
practical activities as well as formal assessments. Learners are also
assessed through individual and group assignments, projects and case study
analysis.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Softskills is also uniquely positioned to deliver on
unit standard-based qualifications Learnerships and Skills programmes and we
acknowledge, in line with the National Skills Strategy, that all acquired
competence that can be displayed by a Learner should be acknowledged and
awarded. Learners that are in a position to produce the required evidence will
be eligible for part or whole Recognition of Prior Learning.
